On the heels of dealing with the great resignation we now are facing inflation and raising gas prices. Dealing with high gas prices is not new although not welcome. Based on how we addressed the issue in years past we created an idea sheet on 15 ways to help employees at the gas pump.

- Continue work from home – show cost savings for employees

- Raise your mileage reimbursement rates
- Rethink sales and delivery routes
- Shorten workweeks
- Give a temporary commuting allowance
- Point employees to gas apps that helps highlight the lowest cost gas in the area
- Find gas rewards programs to enroll in
- Look for grocery store rewards programs
- Offer car optimization services to ensure optimal gas mileage
- Give tips on best gas mileage use (not speeding, avoid excessive idling)
- Provide errand running services
